my son's "father" is not in the picture. yes paternity was established and yes he is paying support. but he has no visitation. his parents are now threatening me with court, if i do not let them see him without me present and begin overnights... can they do this???? i do allow them to see him whenever they want, but i am always present. i also have documented everything!!! every email, text, letter... everything! can they take me to court for MORE visitation???

Talk to your lawyer since some states do have grandparent's rights. I wouldn't think they'd be able to get very far though... especially considering you DO let them see your son.

Keep documenting everything.

Yeah I've already done that, so now its a waiting game. I'm just curious if anyone else has gone through this. And if so, did the grandparents win?!

They can demand anything they want. Whether they get what they are kicking and screaming for is a different story. Tell them to go ahead and take you to court. Don't be bossed around by them.

Good for you for keeping track of everything. It is in your best interest. Also contact your lawyer and give him a heads up. He will have a better idea if this is a request they can accomplish.
