I am late by a few days and for the past two weeks I have been having pregnancy symptoms, I know cos I've been down the road once; abnormal urination, fatigue, neausea and vomiting etc. I would have sworn I was pregnant. Then yesterday, I got what I thought was my period but obviously isn't because it was light and has now stopped. But the neausea continues. So I stopped the clinic for a test and it was negative! Is that possible? Could these tests be wrong? Anyone been there? Please help clarify!

Yes. If your HCG levels aren't yet high enough, you could be still recording a negative. I have also heard of cases where some women never record a positive with a urine test. You may need to have a blood test done. Alternatively, just wait a few more days and try again. Your hormone levels may have increased by then.

@Jodi.. thanks, but it was a blood test... I guess I just have to wait a few more days and try again?... really frustrating!
