I'm having my baby girl in around 2 months, and me and my husband are very fond of the name "Pagan" for our baby girl. But a lot of people think its wrong to call a child that due to it being a religion. Is there really anything wrong with naming her that?

Well if the reason you are being given is that "Pagan" is a religion, then ask them what they think of boys called "Christian" because that is also a religion.

Your baby, you choose..

If ou love the name o for it. People may have an issue as Pagan is not only a religion but it includes witchcraft, Druids and shamans. I'm guessing it might be this ome people ave an objection to. It's your baby and you can call them whatever you love and people will learn to accept it. My grandma admitted to me when I was 9 that she really hated my name when I was born lol

If you both like the name, then make it your baby's name. It's your baby. I think it's a cute name. Christian is a name and a religion. It's up to you, not everyone else.

At the end of the day it is your child, I dont think its that bad, there are lots of name that are other things, Devon is a big name in Canada but it is a lunch meat in Australia! If you call her that people will get over it soon enough just like any other name that is considered not the 'norm'. You could always consider Payton as another oppition if you choose not to go with Pagan
