Can you breastfeed and formula feed at the same time?

Yes, when my youngest was first born, we had to supplement with formula because she was mostly tube fed, so I pumped milk for her, and we topped up with formula when we needed to. Once she was finally breastfeeding, I had to supplement with formula while I built up my milk.

Sure if that's something you have to do. I breastfed and had to supplement with formula as well. Although some babies prefer breast milk over the formula. However we did not have that issue with our son.

Yes.

Breastfeeding works on a supply and demand issue though, so the more the baby gets formula... the more the baby will need formula because your body will not produce milk when your baby is not sucking for it (or when you aren't pumping, but pumping isn't as efficient as a baby anyway). Some breastfed babies also do not tolerate formula.
