Does anyone know if you can file a missing persons on an adult? I am not trying to force her to come home or anything, I just want to know where she is and if she is ok.

The more places you can leave word for her, the more likely you may hear from her. As she is an adult she is entitled to privacy. Is there a reason she would hide her location from you? How long has it been since you last knew where she was living?

You're replying in the correct spot.
Yes you can still file a missing person report on an adult but the police won't be as active about finding them as they would be a child.
Is it just that she hasn't contacted you? How long ago was the last contact? Do you have any reason to believe she isn't okay?

I have sent some messages out to friends and I am hoping to hear back soon. Nothing so far. I think I am going to go ahead and try with the police station and see what they say. I just wasnt sure with her being a legal adult if they would even listen to me.

Yes you can, contact your local police station and they will make a record of the missing person. Then if she is ever, pulled over or arrested, she will be told you are looking for her. If she hasn't taken her passport or birth certificate, you may be able to leave word with the county clerk as well.

It possibly depends on circumstances. But have you tried to contact any of her friends to see if she is ok?
