Hello, I am wondering if anybody is pregnant and carrying an Anti-Kell antigen antibody? I found out four years later after giving birth to my second child that I was given the wrong blood transfusion. I am A positive and they gave me O positive. I was hemmoraging badly and therefore was given a transfusion. I do not understand why they did not check my blood type. I could of died. Anyways, When I found out about it while pregnant with my third. I was told that my titer is 32 and is a danger zone. I need to go for blood test every month and doctors appointments. It has been 32 all the way up to now. I am 37 weeks and my titer is now 64. There is not much information on this particular antibody and the titer. My question is, is 64 dangerous and what can happen to baby when born? I am scared and really worried. Doctors are not much help at all. I am considered high risk patient, but it would help if they gave me more information. Can anyone out there explain to me is there anything to be scared about?
