I'm looking into changing my car, am doing extensive researches, looking into cars...
Right now I have a mini-van. I've always wanted a convertible so my thought process was to graduate to a SUV... now I think that the mini-van will be invaluable because of the twins that are 4... soon they'll start school and I believe that they'll want to take friends home. In a SUV I cannot easily do, the car that was in mind, the 2nd row seats do not slide, what makes it even harder for any person to go to the 3rd row when I have their car seats on. They are pettit, so I believe the bulky car seats will stay there for a couple more years!
Mother's of twins... what car do you have?
Another mother of twin had a mini-van and chaged to a big sedan... she regreted...

I'm sorry Connie I do not know if I'm replying... I guess I don't know how to work much on this...
The person that answers does not have to have twins but kids around the same age so car seats would be a concern.
Your answer has been helpful for me since I have yet another perspective. So far mini-vanX4-
SUVX2
I have only 2 kids... downsizing now seems a mistake for me since I might need one time or the other the 3 row. I have used very little during the 4 years that I had the mini-van, but I used it.
That's my dilemma... 2 kids I could afford to have a smaller car but I'm always thinking on the ifs and the future.

I do not have twins but i do have 4 girls and I drive a minivan. it has been invaluable over the years because there is always at least one friend along for the ride. now that my 2 oldest are almost grown i think i am going to downsize but i am hesitant to loose my minivan. I get great gas mileage and can haul all the friends and family.
