I have to get a bigger car seat for my baby. I am buying a convertable car seat. because iknow he isnt supposed to be in a front facing until at least a year.

I just need some tips on what to do when taking him out since i will no longer have the carrier carseat.

so what do you guys do when you go out to town, or shopping or anything without a carrier seat.

He is only 3.5 months old. so he cant really sit in a buggy. and i dont want to carry him the entire time im in town. he is a heavy 20+ pound baby.

It has been too long since mine were in car seats for me to suggest a brand. I'd look for one that is easy to install, does both forward and rear facing and has a high weight limit. Dark color hides stains.

That is actually a good idea. I just know he is over the weight limit for the carseat he is currently using so I am going tomorrow to get a new one.

Any suggestions.

Use the bigger car seat while you drive and keep the baby carrier in the trunk? Then you can put him in the carrier to shop.
