Hi everybody .
I'm so happy I am here with you all moms
About 10 months ago I had a miscarriage when I was at 22nd week. My water broke in spite of the fact that I had had a cerclag put in at 19th week . The point is my cervix Had already dilated 3 centimeters when I had cerclage put in. Now I am worried to death about next pregnancy cause I'm going to get pregnant soon (in 1 or 2 months). I don't know whether I'll have a full pregnancy or not. Sorry for my broken English.

At 24 weeks she was put on strict bed rest at home and only up to use the restroom. At 29 weeks she was admitted to the hospital, had a catheter in her bladder placed and did not get out of bed at all until the delivery. This was for the first living baby.

Thanks for your quick reply
I'm so happy for your sister. Good for her.
Was she on full or strict bed rest?

My sister waited one year before conceiving again, since you are about there I wish you luck. You will need to have frequent ultrasounds to determine where the placenta is lying and the cerclage can be place as early as 12 weeks. Get your family and friend to support you as you may need their help at 22-24 weeks, if you go on bed rest. My sister elected a c-section at 34 weeks to prevent any further dilating of her cervix. She is the mother of 3 living children now so hang in there!

I really am grateful for your help. I really appreciate it. It will be great if you are able to find out some details about that. At the moment I'm looking for a good doctor around here.
Thanks

I did not, but my sister lost two babies in a row and then found a great doctor in Chicago. Her cervical cerclage was placed at 12 weeks and she was on strict bedrest from 22 weeks to delivery. It was a challenge, but with the help of family she has her beautiful daughter Paige. Find a good doctor. That is critical

Hi dear Sarah
I have a question for you: have you ever gone through this problem during your pregnancy(God forbid) or do you know anybody who has been able to get over this problem?

Just be sure that you get the best high risk doctor that you can find. The cerclage should be place earlier than 19 weeks and you will need very careful monitoring. Prepare yourself for the possibility of needing to go on bedrest.
