My baby boy had his first set of vaccinations a week ago. Prior to the vaccinations he had been sleeping thru the night and taking regular naps. Since getting them he has been waking up a few times a night and taking 2 cat naps throughout the day. He isn't cranky or any less affectionate. Is this normal? Should I be concerned enough to call the doctor? Does it last forever? Obviously he is my first child and apparently I worry a lot! Thanks for your help!!

Thank you!! Sometimes I just need peace of mind. I wasn't supposed to be able to have kids. I went into preterm labor at 24 weeks and somehow managed to go to 37 weeks. So I can't help but think all this is too good to be true. I need to get over worrying so much!! Thank you!!!

It's probably just a coincidence. It's not likely that a change in sleep pattern has anything to do with his shots. He'll probably be approaching a growth spurt soon, so that could very well be a reason for the change.

Sleep patterns change all the time, just when you think you have it figured out they change. I'm sure it's just coincidental that it coincides with his shots.
