And the search took literally 10 seconds. I'm amazed that you didn't think of that first, being a teacher and all...doing your own research is much more rewarding than having strangers do your work for you

I have heard of people getting a prescription for speciality formula and having their insurance cover all or part of the cost.

I don't know if you can get Neosure free samples without going through a doctor or hospital, but most formula companies are pretty aggressive with free samples. If you register for a free sample and get friends and family to register as well, you will get multiple free samples, and everybody who requested a free sample will also get added to the mailing list for coupons and special offers. Also, some doctors have piles of free samples sitting around and will give them to you if you ask.

There really aren't a lot of deals on speciality formula though. A lot of the formula coupons I see are only good for the more mainstream products. I think you'll have the most luck finding "good for any Similac product" coupons registering with Similac for direct marketing.

If you live near the border it might be cheaper for you to buy it in Canada or Mexico because of the regional pricing, and the exchange rate possibly working in your favour.

It might also be worth it to buy it from a store that has a points scheme or bonus program that benefits you in the long run. If you're going to spend hundred or thousands of dollars on formula and can't find a way to consistently get it for less consider buying it in a way that still benefits you somehow... even if it's in the form of gift cards, or discounts on other store products.

Thanks Chet MC. I will have to ask my doctor if she has some samples:) I do not plan on staying with neosure long .. Just until doctor says I can switch. I plan on putting him on Walmart'sParents Choice.

I do have to admit that I have thought of coupons and have already googled;) Just wondering if anyone came across any different ones than I found or different sources .. Between taking care of my baby I only had a second to type my question.. Sorry I don't specify this:) thank you so much for your time! I still yet to find different ones than I have.

If I were you, I'd do a search for 'formula coupons'.

Sunday papers are an excellent coupon source, as are Wednesdays (generally most groceries have midweek sales, so coupons go out that morning)

No I do not have WIC ( my husband and I are both teachers). Any ideas where some coupons are? :)

Coupons are great. Are you on WIC? They are a tremendous help with things like formula purchases, etc
