As I said before if you can't help your messages are irrelevant, your logic makes no sense at all.its like ordering a pizza and when it turns up you get lasagne.
I'm not interested to discuss why how where when to a very simple question that I asked, so if you don't know why would you waste your time replying.

I worked with children with special needs and without special needs. Harnesses are not considered necessary to teach a child to stay put with the parent. I never used a harness and I think it is degrading to the child. But if you need the harness for specific reasons you should be under the guidence of a doctor or therapist for that reason alone.

You are hilarious! You actually were given relevant advice. How is "you should probably speak with your physician" irrelevant? You are talking about harnessing your older child. I have worked with children of all ages, and never, EVER, even in the special need rooms, seen an older child in a harness, so it is not rubbish to assume that there is a medical need, therefore to speak with one more qualified to give good advice.

Also: you are on an open, international forum, so you are going to get whatever you get, and you don't get to dictate.

That being said, if you have an older child that, for whatever reason needs to be harnessed, you would be best off contacting a medical professional that can point you in the right direction, in order to get a product that will be both safe, and effective.

How is asking the person who does medical care for your special needs child where to find a device needed to care for said special needs child irrelevant?

That is probably the best advice you could get...

Carol: This is an open international forum and you can't dictate who replies to your post. YOU have posted this so people will answer.
Like Dove said, ask your doctor as everyone I know doesn't harness a child that age. I am friends with a family that has a severely autistic boy who is now 15 who tends to run away but they have never harnessed him.

If you no idea why are you replying to my post,I am not interested in anything but where to find new nothing more, what would be the point in Replying to a question some asks with totally irrelevant rubbish,if I was here for advice that way my question would be about that however I'm not interested advice that way to not want be impolite.

Like I said... if you need a harness that size you would be best talking to your daughter's doctors and specialists. They probably know a lot more than a bunch of random strangers who have no need to harness older children, so wouldn't have a clue where to GET a harness....

You may not want to discuss why or how or what about this but unless the child has special needs---I do not sew why a restraint is needed.
