My ex owes the state (since we are on assistance 'I' don't get the child support) over $32,000... the CSEA has it all online of what he owes and the little he's paid.

1. For a spreadsheet, I don't have much advice.
2. For back child support, he won't be able to renew his driver's license and if you can petition the court and prove he is in arrears, a warrant can be issues. Sadly though many men do not pay and face no consequence. If her gets a tax return, the back amount should come to you.
3. Look at camp or day camp in your area, most programs have scholarship options for needy kids.
4. You can file for full custody by going to the county clerk and filing a petition with the court. Unless you can prove he is a danger or the kids well-being is on the line, I don't think you'd win (even with an attorney) You can look online at your states Legal Aide website, you may find a lawyer who will work on a sliding scale or even pro-bono.

Hi there! Yes I have a order. I'm just showing them what is owed and tracking it for myself as well. I don't have to justified how it is used. Sorry I probably wasn't very clear.

My ex-husband doesn't earn a paycheck bc he owns a restaurant and bar. So he gets cash and reports it. So of course he isn't ordered to pay much but even the little $38/week I desperately need. I haven't gotten anything this year. I have written the state contact person (that is where he pays it) that I talked to last year when I had same problem. It just feels like nobody cares or does anything. I used to get it directly through him but then he would use it to control things. I asked when he is going to pay me yesterday and he just started yelling and insulting me. He said now he won't help me with child care during the day (he works nights) on my days that I have her and have to work. I thought by going through the court someone would hold him responsible other than me but that hasn't happened in the year and a half (or longer) since I did it.

So one step at a time.... I need advice on....
1. any spreadsheets anyone uses they want to share. I have one but maybe someone has a better way to track it.
2. How to make him accountable and who to contact that will do that? (I cannot afford an attorney.)
3. Finding childcare over summer while she is out of school that is way cheap. I don't know how I will afford it at all honestly.
4. How to file for full custody without an attorney? My girl desperately needs more of a routine and stability. That's another long story....

Thanks for listening to me rant! I just thought someone out there might have been in this kind of situation and could give me advice.

What is you current child support order? If you get a set amount each month you should not have to justify how it is used. Have you asked at the Family Court for a referral to child support services to have the father's wages garnished?
If you don't have an order, then sending receipts to the state may not be useful.

This is my first time on here. Sorry I only posted a subject and nothing else. lol

Do any of you divorced mom's out there have a spreadsheet template that I can use to log my child support receipts?

Also, I haven't gotten ANY child support this year and wondered if anyone had some advice for me on how to get it. I wrote the state and will be sending them a spreadsheet of what's due.
