My 9 year old daughter has started to have daily abdominal migraines. She has a history of benign paroxysmal torticollis as a baby and benign paroxysmal vertigo up until just recently. Her episodes would come like clockwork every three months and last up to one week. In November 2013, she switched over to an abdominal pain that comes on every night at the same time, and persists throughout the night. Her days are better than the nights. We put her on Topamax and she is up to 75 mg. I chose this medication because her weight is already an issue, and I didn't want to experience weight gain as side effect. Is there anyone that has a child following this path, and what are your experiences?
