My 6 year old son has been diagnodes with having glandular fever. He is always tired and gets whatever bug is going around. Does anyone have young children with this and any ideas about helping him get better. Doctor says will just take time. Thank Lisa.

Hi my seven year old is again really ill with glandular fever. It is hard to find info ect that is for this age group. Ask to be referred to a pedatrics as there are so many other things that need to be looked at while they are ill. My daughter has been ill since she was four, and only now are we getting any where width the doctors , just keep taking him back every week and then it's all logged on there system. Ours has moved ( so they think) into chronic fatigue syndrome. Does fit with every thing but need specialist to confirm. It is so hard looking after a child with this as there is nothing you can do to make them better! Plus the impact if you have more then one .

How is your child now ? Do you find one day is good and then two days later you have a moody tired in pain child who just wants to watch tv or sleep?
