Trying to make up a chore chart for a 5 and 3 year old. Does getting dressed count as a chore? I am not so sure. Any samples or suggestions... phisigrocks@hotmail.com

I think so. It's not so much a chore chart as a "things I need to do" chart. So, we put brushing teeth, getting dressed, making bed, cleaning up toys, etc on it. The one I did had a bunch of pictures on it of the things my kids need to do. That way it's visual and they love it. I laminated it and put velcro on it so when they finished that chore it would get covered with another laminated picture (mine is bees in the hive). It makes it so much more fun for the kids too, especially when they get to cover it up. I started it when my daughter was 3. She's 4 now and still loves it.

Yes! We found a great one at Office Depot that had some listed and blank lines for you to write in what you want. I can scan it and email it to you if you give me your email address. My son loves it b/c we keep a count for how much he gets paid in allowance. His is a bit different NOW though since he is 12 years old though. He's growing up so fast!
