I live around central Oklahoma and we have a few days off around Christmas and are looking for something to do! We have 2 young girls. We don't mind driving 3-5 hours in any direction, so I would appreciate some help!

Have you thought of looking at the lights in OKC? I did as a child and they were lovely. They do it on the homes in the area. Also, check the zoo there too. Its huge and takes more than a day to get around. If you can get to Tulsa, they have an aquarium that is all inside with shark tank that you walk under and a lot of sea life to see. Talequah has a museum dedicated to the Trail of Tears. In El Reno there is a place you can go see the buffalo in a park setting. The Wilds own it. You could look it up online. Also there is Red Rock Canyon. There are a lot of trails to hike or walk if the weather is fine. If you do go further into Arkansas past Tulsa about 2 hours there is the Museum of Walmart in Bentonville. Or you could take in the sights of the Univeristy of Arkansas. Just a few suggestions and some do not cost you a thing or very little money.
