I think it can work out fine, as the others have said... I just wanted to add that be sure there is enough consistency so that your children don't end up confused or feeling detached. I think it can be great to expose them to various types of worship, but hopefully the general theology is in the same ballpark, otherwise it may be confusing. Also, if attendance is very intermittent between the two places, it may be harder (or take longer) to build relationships and a sense of community, which I think is a really great (and important) benefit to belonging to a church.

I am a pastor's wife, and I think it is okay to attend 2 different churches depending on the circumstances. For instance, my church did not have any young moms, so I joined a MOPS group at another church. It was a lifesaver for me. I still attended my own church on Sunday mornings and during the week (when I could), but went to MOPS at this other church, as well as any events they had for moms. It was a lifesaver for me!!

Yes. Rebekah brought up some good points to consider, but generally speaking there is absolutely nothing at all wrong with attending more than one church.

Sure, why not? When I was a teenager, I attended 3 different churches. They were all so happy to have me.
