My 15 mos. old twins (Eli and Gabe, identical boys) are going to make a crib escape ANY day now and I'm distraught about it! The boys are preemies, and are still quite petite, so they're really not big enough for big boy beds. Any suggestions!?!?

well my dear i too had preemies born at 26 weeks and were climbers aswell. i thought the same thing about the not big enough for big beds but i tell you im so glad i did it, what i did was get two twin sized beds when mine were around ten months old and pushed one side of the beds against the wall and bought a full /queen sized railing guards, not sure exactly what there called but there to prevent falling out of bed and safety for kids, they do make mesh style ones to prevent suffocation. my two loved this they had such a big bed to play on they completely stopped trying to climb out that and they could climb up on eachothers beds with the small gap at the end of the bed that the rail leaves to the foot board. id definantly try it out

I would try a toddler bed. They aren't as big a twin beds but you don't have to worry about them falling out and huirting themselves. You can also put their crib mattresses on the floor if you don't want to buy toddler beds.
