Close to labor with a 23 month old.

I have a wonderful son and I'm 34 weeks pregnant. My doctor thinks I'm going to go early. I've already lost my mucus plug, having braxton hicks, & I'm having severe pain. Obviously my son doesn't understand I'm hurting, what is the best way to handle this? I can't be mad at him but its getting extremely hard to keep up with the house, make sure I'm being as good a mother I can, & not make myself go any earlier or be in more pain. Any advice?

Do you not think its time to get someone to come stay with you now that you are this close to giving birth? A friend, your mother, mother inlaw, or another family member could come in and help you do the things you need done around the house and take care of your son for you. And if you are in so much pain and have lost the mucus plug you should be in the hospital, as I know this from experience when I gave birth to my daughter. My plug came out and they told me to come in not stay home.
