Hi Mom's. So I have co-slept with my daughter since birth. She will be 6 mo on 9/24 and I feel that it is time to get her used to sleeping in her crib. I breastfeed and she still feeds an avg. of 3 times during the night. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions on how to make this transition smoother? Thank you!

I heard that helps. We just returned from visiting my parents, so Monday is my target date to start her in her room & crib. I'll update on my progress!

Maybe if you sleep with a pair of her pj or a blanket, it will smell like you and she will feel more safe?

I actually had a bassinet but she hated it, so I just kept her in bed with me. I don't sleep well either and she is also rolling, so I really want her in her crib. I guess I'll just prepare for some long nights!

do you have a bassinet or a side sleeper that you can move her to and reach out to pat her back or rest your hand or her if she fusses a bit? This is a tough one for me because, while I loved breastfeeding, I never slept well with my baby right with me. I would get all sweaty and hot. Even in the same room every squeak the baby made woke me up. I guess just try it and see how it goes? Are you planning on moving her into her own room or just out of your bed?
