My son is 4 years old. He was born almost deaf. He lost all hearing at age 2, and was given a cochlear implant the same year. He has hated it since day one. I worm very hard at getting him to wear his implant and right before he started school last January I had him wearing it alot, even in the car seat. His class has about 20 kids, 1 teacher, and 2 assistant. His class is suppost to have way less. Since over crowding my son was not force to wear his implant. Now it is a fight and most the time I cant even get it on him now. We have an appointment to get it turn back way down. My son is in the process of getting diagnose for autism and sensory issues. Dose any one have any suggestions on how to get him to wear it with out such a horrible fight or is it time to give up and turn to sign language? Thanks
