I do know some people who have found that caffiene helps with ADHD. However, it is usually with a pediatrician recommending it, and setting the proper amount.
Never rely solely on the internet. Always start with your physician.

I strongly agree with Ev. Do NOT take advice from the internet about this issue, even WED MD. If your child has ADHD or autism you likely got that diagnosis from a physician. Ask the physician how best to treat the symptoms. There are wonderful medications available now. Please do not feel stigmatized by giving your children medications they are to correct a medical problem just like antibiotics.
Your child's physician will likely prescribe ritalin, adderol, or another stimulant. Coffee has caffeine which is a stimulant, but not of the same variety and has many many other negative side effects. I strongly doubt the doctor will recommend coffee or cola.

You need to be careful about searching the internet for option where you child's ADHD is concerned. 90 percet of the options are not from reliable sources. These days people seem to rely on the internet for all their answers but do not stop to think about where that information comes from. You should really be working with your child's doctor and if you do not like what doc says, you can always get a second opinion.
