Hello everyone I was just wondering I have a child that cognitive impaired and I want to take her on a mini vacation her brother is 13 and a lot of times people will ask to take him on vacation with them but the problem that I have they don't like take g my daughter cause she is a handful she has a mind of 5 year old and she is 9 and she acts like a toddler so there for when she throws tamper tantrums she screams they get annoyed with her and I get frustrated because it's not fair cause my son gets to do a lot more things

It's not something she's going to grow out of and yes it is unfair but most people can't deal with special needs children. If your son wants to go you should let him.Family is important but if you treat him like a toddler too then he could start to resent her and sometimes even act like a child. Is he nice to her?
