Can somebody you trust come with you, like your husband,bf or mom for support? And do you have xanax, valium, temesta or something to calm you down? Ask your doctor what dose you may take so that you are relaxed, and dont wait till you get a panic attack, rather take something befor so that you dont get one. You can do it! And once its done its done! Good luck

You usually need an anaesthesiologist to be put to sleep for a procedure, and I think you'll have a hard time finding somebody willing to put you under to get a coil removed. General anaesthetic has risks, and the benefits have to outweigh the risks.
More likely, you can be given a sedative. You'll be awake and conscious, but relaxed.
