My son is 5 weeks old and has a belly ache all the time, The doctor said he's colic. He usually doesnt spit up but for the past 3 days he has been spitting up alot. He's only been sleeping for ten - twenty minutes then he wakes up and cries again. except at night he sleeps fine. He acts like he's always hungry. Ive tried everything i dont know what to do to make him happy, but he' cries all the time pretty much all day. any advise?

If he has an upset tummy all the time I would look at changing his diet, if you are breast feeding look at what you are eating as if you are eating gassy foods so is he. If you are formula feeding could be that your little guys tummy can't handle the brand of formula you are using. My daughter could only use one specific brand of formula if we had to buy something else because we couldn't get the one we wanted she would be gassy and fussy for days.

look up or as your doctor about the "football hold" that helped my son alot. We had to change to soy formula because of all of this. Always try to stay as calm as possible. Vibrations help, as all you need to do is to try to comfort and remove as much gas as possible. There are colic drops also. Watch his normal activities(feeding) and burp as much as possible, that should at least help with the colic. They always act like there hungry, just control his feeding times and do whatever works to help him with the colic. :) It's not easy, but when you find out what works, that will hel out alot. We had to put him in his vibrator bouncy, and on top of the washer while it was on spin cycle, to soothe him.
