College Life with an Infant

I'm starting college in January and I'm kind of nervous because he will be 6 months and in order for me to graduate in two years I would have to have 12 credit hours per semester. Has anyone else attended college with a baby or a young child? I want to be able to balance spending time with him and completing/studying all of my assignments.

You may need to look at taking a lighter load and graduating in 3 to 4 years. I had a little one and did full load for just one semester. You don't get much time for either....your studies or your child. It is very hard and stressful. It can be done but like I said you are not going to get much time in either place, so it will always be a constant battle to try to fit it all in. Taking a lighter load will help with giving you more time on both sides. It is better to take a lighter load and graduate from college then it is to try to take full load to graduate sooner only to get so stressed out that you quit.
