Common problem with boys?? Help!!

My son is turning 5 next month and we have been trying to get him to stop grabbing himself all the time. He has been doing this since he was 2 and we've brought it up to the dr. several times. Each time we've brought it up, we're assured that it's normal for boys and he'll eventually stop, but he hasn't. We've talked with him about only doing this when he's in his room, had discussions about it - both with myself and my husband, yelled at him to stop, remind him when we're out in public - basically everything. We constantly have him look at other children to see if any of them are doing the same (and they're not) and with him starting kindergarten soon, we're concerned. Does anyone have any suggestions on ways to get him to stop doing this? We would appreciate any advice.... Thanks!

It is completely normal for boys. Men do it all the time, so don't be surprised if he never truly stops, LOL!! However, really it will stop when he starts school and he gets embarrassed when kids tease him for it or he notices nobody else is doing it.
