I have a 5 year old son, I don't remember much about when and time frame of his conception as so much was going on at the same time. Does anyone know if it is possible to still conceive within the first couple of days after ovulation day? My husband and I have been at it like bunnies since I have come home from a two week trip which ended up with me coming back the day after ovulation had started. HELP!

Oh no we are trying! We were trying to get in as much as humanly possible before the time frame was up! I do want another child. Thanks for the advice!

I'm going by memory here but I think the eggs live a short time after ovulation which might cause you to become pregnant. I know that the sperm lives up to 72 hours, but the eggs don't live quite as long. I wish I could give you more solid advice. Is becoming pregnant a bad thing for you? At this point the only thing you can do is wait, but it also depends on how fertile you are. If you are pregnant then my advice will be one sided because I'm pro-life but it's a personal choice so I wish you luck no matter what. Maybe just try the pill or condoms next month?
