my child is 6 and my parents are being overbearing threathening to have her taken from me and involving a man who has made no attempt to be a part of her life. he has made no financial contribution and has no idea wat gender the child is. the issues arose when i lost my job and my child grandparents kept her away from me informing her i was deceased. when i finally got her back after 2 months, her grandparents never bothered contacting her. over the recent holidays i allowed my baby to visit with her greatgrandmother who went against my wishes and allowed her to b taken. in the first 4 hours that she was in their care she was hospitalized and i was not informed. now because of the choice of partner and his religion they are threatening to have my child taken away and involving and absent father. my partner now although not the best of relationships, still provides for her needs. please advise me on what the possible consequences will be. i am loosing my mind. my life has been threathened. im not perfect but i love my baby. she is my world .... my life

i do have her back but the child has changed. i do not wish for her to have contact with a man that i know is physically violent. and as for the grandparents the question of note is do they have my childs best interest at heart which i seriously doubt for numerous reasons, one they have physically, emotionally and financially abused me. i used to buy my peace in that house.they hate that they have lost control. they assume that having money will make them the winners. i am afraid of the lengths they will go and it has taken a toll to a point that i have no one. i am afraid that my situation as it stands may influence the courts decision but i do realize that and i pray that she will nnot be removed from my care

Do you have your child back now?
If so, don't let the grandparents have her again! You need to get court orders in place regarding custody and visitation though if they are bringing the Father into the picture.
