hello, i am new on the site. I have a son, he was born on the 26/10/11. He was born premature at 30 weeks. On the day he was born he had a very big operation , and during the past year he had other 4 major operations , as he suffers from osepageal atresia. My baby does not eat from the mouth only i feed him from the tummy. He is physically healthy and brain development is good. since he spent so much time in hospital, he still does not speak or walk. I take him to phsyio therapy and occupational therapy and they say he needs time. i talk to him everysingle day and teach him the alphabet and numbers and how to say mama and papa. but he does not seem interested. i give him toys to play with on the high chair but all he likes to do is throw them away. can anyone help me please in this situation , how can at least teach him how to play and talk .
