Hey there! My LO is 10 weeks (will be 11 weeks on Sunday) and has been really congested. I've tried using saline and an aspirator and nothing ever comes out. I even purchased the Nose Frida and still nothing. He also has reflux so I know that can cause congestion, but he seems so miserable as of late. Anytime we lay him down he screams. Keep in mind that we've elevated his bed, so he's not flat. I don't know if these 2 things are related, but just last night he started getting diarrhea. Every time he farts, poop comes out with it. It's been a rough two days and I'm unsure of how to console him. Any words of advice?

Are you breast of formula feeding? I'd ditch the Nose Frida, the more you stick up the nose the stuffier he's going to be. If you have breastmilk, you can put a drop or two in one nostril and gently use the nasal aspirator to remove mucus, then do the other side. has there been a change in your diet is your are nursing or have you changed formula? Running a humidifier near his bed to keep the air moist may help a bit.

Unfortunately I was unable to breast feed. So he's formula fed. He changed formula a little over 3 weeks ago. And we do have a crane humidifier that's been running in his room since he got home from the NICU.
