consitpation for babies

my daughter is one year and a month old. shes having a hard time pushing out her stools for 5 days now, i am trying to figure out what to prepare for her besides rice. is there any chance that there's something i can do to loosen her stool up because shes crying often, shes not playing with any of her toys, shes stays unusually quiet and it's not like her. please help

Stick with the "p" foods prunes, pears, peaches, peas, plums, etc..."p" is for poop and for some odd reason all "p" foods will have the same affect...avoid rice as that will make things worse it's part of the "brat" diet that you would use to bind up a kid with loose bowels when they have the stomach flu.

is she eating table foods (besides rice?) try raisins, applesauce, prunes, juice (1/2 100% juice and 1/2 water), yogurt, fruits (strawberries, grapes, melons cut up).
Hope she feels better!
