How do I stop my ex from constantly taking me to court to modify custody? Do I have any legal steps against all the false allegations he makes against me to police, social services, and the court itself?

Thank you. I have been going through this nonstop since 2005. My daughter is now 11. I am almost bankrupt and am simply a nervous/depressed wreck. Is there no recourse? Are there any organizations that can speak up for us? I have spent so much on lawyers and that did enable me to maintain custody and keep her from being shipped all over the country (most of the time.) But, I want to tell my crazy story. Do you think anyone would want to listen? He is a retired, Super Bowl winning NFL player who is seeking damages for brain injuries.....I won't prattle on, but he is clearly deranged (violence, drugs, lies, etc...) yet the court keeps giving him more chances to make it right.

I understand your struggle. I went through similar circumstances. It's awful. Just stay truthful, and his lies will fall apart. Get affidavits from people around you. People that know your situation. Your word is powerful. Stay strong.
