First, always consult your pediatrician to have the babies tummy checked.
Second, dehydration is the number one cause of constipation.
Make sure your baby is drinking lots of WATER all day, and not just milk or juice. Preferably, no juice.
However, apple juice with a teaspoon of mineral oil can be given before bed time to help relieve the constipation. Mineral oil is a safe and natural way to help the baby go by morning. Do not exceed giving this more than three days in a row, if still no movement, the baby may be impacted. Baby suppository can be found at any drug store. Break one in 1/2 a place it in babies rectum with your pinky (wrapped in corner of a plastic baggie for infection control. These are very effective, but again should not be used often. Get baby to a doctor if the constipation persist. I hope your baby is better soon
