Wow. Serious lack of knowledge about parenting in this internet age! Why have you not created a separate log in on the computer, specifically hers, that only accesses her school site, and nothing else? Not that hard, using parental controls, you can not only limit her time logged in but you can also make it so that it will ONLY access her schooling, and she would have to get your permission to go to any other sites online.

Educate yourself before you allow her any more access. As far as the inappropriate idiot that thinks fucking a 12 year old is the thing to do,give the account name and password to the police

Donna,

All I can say is that I agree with Shawnn. Look up parental tools for computers and have them installed. Research the issue or consult your child's school to get help installing the best software. That will solve the problem. Also do not allow her to have a smart phone. Just a regular cell phone.

My daughters do high school online as well because they hate the public high school. If they ever even dreamed of acting like this I would pull them from their school and put them back in the place they hate.

She should not be on any electronic devices except for homework purposes... and then only if you are sitting right there w/ her. If her friends have electronic devices... she should not be allowed out w/ them at all. She can have them over to the house and they can do non electronic activities together.

You also need to get her into some serious counseling immediately.

If you still have proof that she said she was 12 and that this 30 year old man does not care and still have proof of the sexual conversations... call the police and report it all.

I'm sorry, but I'm not understanding why, if she "keeps giving personal info out online" she even has access without supervision.

Why does she even still have any internet access? Or any device with internet access? Is your internet not password controlled?

Finally, get your daughter into counselling.
