I'm kinda confused!! I havent had a period since about the middle of july && aints almost October, which is unlike me cus i always have normall periods, I took two test towards the beginning of september and end us Aug but they both came out negative.Am I/or Am I Not??

First i started noticing that my stomach was getting a lil big and round and my boobs just a tinny bit bigger than normal..along with me always wanting to sleep( just like i was in my first pregnancy) not only that always having to go to the bathroom even when i didnt drink anything or very much of anything.which lead to getting up in the middle of the night,I also had hot flashes when im out side for less then 5 mins. or laying in bed.I had lost my appetite shortly after having my first baby, but now i just wanna eat what i can find(snack on) including nausea if I don't eat every 2 hours,i also getting itchy sometimes just like i was the first time i was pregant..

Only problem... Negative pregnancy test. is it possible to be pregnant and keep getting negative tests? or am I not preggo? if I'm not what else could cause all these.

Yes, it is possible you are pregnant. I was 20 weeks pregnant with my daughter when I asked my doctor to do a blood test because all of the urine tests came back negative. But I never had regular periods.

Well first of all you are not preggo....because that's a spaghetti sauce! LOL!!! Go to a free clinic and have a test done by a doctor or nurse. Home tests can be deceiving. There is also a chance that there is something else happening physically that you need to be aware of if you are not pregnant.

You only get one body at a time, so be aware of taking the best care of it that you can. Go see a doctor/nurse/nurse practitioner and have a real test done.

That is so strange, the exact same thing happened to me. I had a period in July, then nothing in August so I took a test on the 24th AND a blood test on that day which came out negative, then nothing happened in September so took a test on the 13 and it was negative. I saw the dr on the 23rd and she did the urine test and it came out positive! I was so confused! I went out and purchased a few more tests and sure enough they've come back positive. I've had absolutely NO symptoms other than weird weight fluctuations, but no tenderness, no nausea, nothing so far! If I would not have gone in and asked about it,I would still think I was NOT pregnant. LOL...Good luck either way!

Is there a Planned Parenthood near you? They would likely test you for free.

Go see your gynecologist immediately and get a physical exam and blood test. Also have an ultrasound done to see what is causing your absend periods.

Ok, i have you all beat lol, my gf who is pregnant now and they CANT determine how far along even by ultrasound (she is approx 30 weeks) is STILL showing negative on pregnancy tests both urine and BLOOD, as with her daughter 14 years ago the only way to show she is preg is through an ultrasound, oh and she was given a due date of sept 22 - nov 22 surprise!!

It is entirely possible to be pregnant and have negative pregnancy tests. Honestly the only way to know for sure is to go see the doctor and have them give you the urine and blood tests. That way if you aren't pregnant they may find out if there is another reason for your symptoms. Besides you don't want to end up as one of those girls on "I didn't know I was pregnant" and giving birth in a toilet or something lol. It's always better to go to the doctor, you know the whole it's better to be safe than sorry.

The signs of being tired, hot flashes, larger breasts are all signs of pregnancy. I would get a blood test and then go to www.blueribbonbaby.org and read up on ways to stay healthy and have a healthy baby. I also would go to a midwife for the blood test since on your insurance if you get it with a doctor you have established care. I would also just get another test and take it that likely would answer it for you.

you should go to the doctor. they can do a blood test and tell you for sure. and if you are not pregnant, then you should see what is going on because you should have a period every month.

It's more likely that you get a false negative than a false postive. You could have a low amonut of the hcg hormone that registers when youa re pregnant on home tests. I woud go and see a doctor and if their standard test, which is just like a home prego test comes out negative make sure they do a blood test to confirm. you could hsve low hormone levels which may/can cause issues in your pregnancy. Good luck!

Go to see your Gynecologist to rule it out. with a pelvic exam it can be determined. Yes it is possible to keep getting negative results. Blood work and exam by doctor will set your mind at ease. good luck

Go to your doctor they have much better testing than a stick out of a box. I have four kids and with everyone of them I tried to home test but always got negatives. With my first I took three EPT test and all were negative so I went to the doc and sure enough I was pregnant.

Go to your doctor. He/She can do some hormone tests that can help diagnose what is going on.

it is possible to get false negative readings on urine tests if you are only producing low amounts of HCG, the hormone that the urine tests are checking for. A blood test can clear up any confusion.

My 5 month old grandson was a multiple negative pregnancy test baby. It took her about 4 or 5 tests before it indicated "yes" .

Call your health department & if they don't offer free testing, they may refer you to Planned Parenthood or we have a Pregnancy Resource Center....with money an issue that's your best bet. If you go to your OB & you ARE & you qualify for Medicaid they will go back & cover it also. HTH

Go to the Dr. They can do an internal exam, blood tests and an ultrasound and then you will know for sure.

You WILL be reimbursed for any out of pocket expense if you go to a regular doctor and then apply for medicaid. You WILL get medicaid immediately if you are pregnant! Go for it. Have you ever seen that show, "I didn't even know I was Pregnant'?? Don't want any of those situations to happen. Go see a doctor quick.

There are a few different things that it could be, so seeing someone whenever you can is probably a good idea. I was a labor and delivery nurse for a while and had several patients over the years that had similar stories, whom I met when they were about to deliver! So, there is definitely a chance that you could be pregnant. If the last tests that you took were at the beginning of september, I would take another one, now that it's october. Otherwise there could be several other things that could be causing all your symptoms, which alot of people have already posted. I would take another home test now and if it's still negative and you still don't start your period, you should see someone. Hope that's helpful and hope you get an answer soon. Good luck :)

I had a similar experience as you, didn't have a period for almost three months, took a few tests, all came back negative. Finally went to see my doctor, and found out I had some ovarian cysts. Not to red flag you or scare you, as cysts are very common and mostly harmless, though they can throw off your hormonal imbalance, and thus your period too. I ended up having one burst, which was quite painful, and nothing I could do about it. But was fine after that. My periods are pretty regular now. I'd check with the doctor, see if you have have a vaginal ultrasound to see if they notice anything. Good luck!

If your belly is rounder, and your boobs are larger..chances are "yes!". I would make an appointment with your OBGYN. At this point, with a neg test..they could prob do an internal ultrasound and locate a heartbeat.

if you don't have insurance you can go to planned parenthood, they do it for free

[deleted account]

Are you trying to get pregnant? Are you overly stressed out? Have you changed anything about your diet or exercise routine? Are you sleeping enough? It sounds like you recently moved and you don't have insurance... both stressful things! (trust me I just did it with a family of 5 and only the kids have insurance). It is true that there are a lot of things that cause you to miss, skip, delay a period but many of them aren't scary things and are more related to your circumstances, environment, and even feelings. Any pain anywhere else? Any other symptoms? In the end, the best thing is to get to a doctor.... in my city the Department of health and human services does pregnancy tests for free. Planned Parenthood is often expensive actually though they will usually work you in.

You really should go to planned parenthood and get a blood test. There are so many things that can be wrong. Some are not to messede with. Go to a doctor and don't wait.Donna sandoval, LVN

Im doing the exact samething maybe its our hormones. If you find the answer let me know

[deleted account]

Go get a blood test and find out for certain. HPT's aren't 100%. One little "mistake" and the test may show negative. Be sure you wait a little longer than the directions say to--I got some cheap tests that took 5 minutes instead of the 3 min. the package indicated.

Go see your doctor...i was 3 months pregant with my first when i found out. all the home tests i took (5 of them) were negative, it took a blood test, my hormone levels were so low they barely picked up at all so they did an ultrasound and sure enough i was over 13 weeks.
