So, my daughter is 7 weeks old and for the past 2 weeks I had been having unprotected sex with her father and although we never actually "finished" because we were nervous about me getting pregnant again, I had a doctors appointment yesterday and they pregnancy tested me (through urine) and it had a very, very faint line.. so the nurse blood tested me to be sure and said it came back negative. Today I started my period, and I have to take another pregnancy test next week in order to get my birth control shot.. but I'm just wondering, why would the first test come back slightly positive but the blood test come out negative? I hear the blood test is more precise and accurate, but I mean, if the first test had a faint line.. wouldn't that just mean I was pregnant, or could it be leftover hormones from having my daughter 7 weeks ago? PLEASE HELP!
