I wish i knew how to post the pictures on here but when i went for my ultrasound yesterday i was told im having a boy. When i looked over the picture they gave me it is def. just its umbilical cord between its legs unless its penis connects to its belly button. They also did a DVD of the ultrasound and a few times during the DVD they had the picture between the legs. When i paused it It looks like a mini hamburger and i don't see any boy parts at all...could they be wrong in saying its a boy?

Yes, doctors can be wrong. I personally know two people who had the wrong gender predicted. The first couple had a boy predicted by a specialist and found out later it was a girl. My neighbor's granddaughter was told a girl and found out when she gave birth it was actually a boy. I've purchased a ton of unisex clothes and blankets for our first. Mostly yellow, but it's good to have unisex in case you end up having both genders eventually.

Maybe just get a lot of neutral colour items for now on things you really need and then when they baby arrives, buy the rest.

Yes, they can be wrong, but from what I've heard, a lot more of a chance of them being wrong with a girl.

Of course they could be wrong. And sometimes they are! But you have to remember they do this all day everyday! :-) they probably have good reason to believe its a boy! Do you want a girl? Just wait and at the next ultrasound ask them to double check!
