I know that title kind of sounds funny but the situation is anything but funny. I am new to a blended family where myself and my boyfriend both have children but none by each other. Myself and my ex's get along reasonably most of the time. Only bickering on occasion at most.

My boyfriend's ex is literally crazy. Lying, manipulating, threatening, physically and mentally crazy....

She is so terrified that her children might actually like me that she will still not allow them to come to our home or around my children. My boyfriend and I have been living together for over a year and she stills says that she will not allow the kids to come over because they don't need a stepmother.

My intent is not to take her place. I just want to build a relationship with them and let our children build a relationship with each other. I am lost and need support or I am just going to give up on this relationship.

I don't want to do that because my boyfriend and I just "click". It's like we were always meant to be in each others lives. But with all this. I don't know how much more my heart and my mind can take. Is I am new to a blended family where myself and my boyfriend both have children but none by each other. Is there anyone out there dealing with the dread I have everyday?

Like Jodi said, without court orders she does what she wants. He does need to document that she has been witholding contact so that will go against her in court. Tell him to get a lawyer.

Your boyfriend needs to talk to a lawyer and get visitation orders in place. She has no right to withhold the children just because she feels like it. But unless your boyfriend has court orders, at the moment she can do as she damn well pleases.
