My younger daughter is 4 years old and ahe started her school 2 months back. She still cries to and at school. Teacher has started complaining also. She is so very attached to me and doesn't want to leave me. Please advise me on how to tackle this problem.

Maybe she is frightened by something at the school. Maybe the teacher or certain kids are being aggresive and she is frightened. Just a thought.

Well kindergarten is for 5 and up, preK and nursery school is not a requirement. why is she crying? Is she anxious, is she teased, there must be a reason.

Today she called me up from school and told me not to send her to school, which was shocking for me. How can i keep her at home at this age?

If she crying beyond when you leave and she is not recovering and blending into the community, then maybe she is not quite ready for school? If the teacher sees this as a problem, did she offer any advice?
