Cryptic or nah!

I suspect that I'm having a cryptic pregnancy. I ignored all symptoms our fatigue, breast tingling, even fleeting and now what feels like fetal movement because the hpt was negative. When the movements started I was freaked out enough to go to the er where they did a blood test that also came back negative. I've pushed the issue so hard that my obgyn performed a Doppler ultrasound. Catch is they won't by any means release my results until tomorrow. FYI I have given birth to 4 children. But I tied my tubes 10 years ago, so I'm waiting to see if this oh too familiar feeling is right despite what modern medicine says, or I'm coo coo for coaco puffs.

I wish you every success that the outcome you're looking for eventuates. However, whilst it may be hard to accept, if the results from the doctors testing is negative it will be highly unlikely that you will be pregnant.

There is a lot of misuse of the term cryptic pregnancy at the moment, thanks largely to a couple of web sites and facebook groups. These sites seem to promote delusional pregnancy as being cryptic pregnancy. The following article helped me to see through the misinformation that these sites were providing -

Best of luck with everything

Were you not allowed to look while the ultrasound was performed???

How long have you been having symptoms?

It is possible to get pregnant, even though your tubes are tied. Some women whose tubes were cut/cauterized have even had their tubes grow back together. If you got the clips (as I did), it's possible for the clips to come off and travel around the body. Not sure that could cause the symptoms you're experiencing. But if the clips come off and there is not enough scar tissue to keep the tube closed, then you could get pregnant.
