I need to take my son in for a CT scan later this month. The doctor said that his right artery of his heart to his lungs is bigger than the left one. The doctor said that his heart looks fine but wants to do a CT scan to make sure. I am not so sure that i want to take my son for the CT scan considering all the risks of doing a CT scan. To make this worse he needs to go under anaesthetic, this is scary and I'm not sure that my baby won't be scared or worse. This is my first little one and I'm so scared for him. He is so small and full of life i am scared this will change that.

Please help

The pro's for getting the scan done far outweigh the risks of the scan.
The doctors need to do the tests to help your son, not just because they want to.
Put aside your own fears and do what you can for your son.
