My ex is fighting for a change of custody, what can I do to stop it?

Like Jodi said... he has a right to fight for whatever he wants. It's a very good idea for you to have a lawyer. Your ex and you can both present your cases of what you think is in the best interest of your child and why... and then the judge will have to sort it out.

If you know what your ex is asking and you think it will be detrimental to your child... be prepared to present evidence (not just your opinion, but solid facts) supporting that.

Like Jodi said. Custody/visitation agreements should be reviewed regularly as the children grow up anyway.

You can't stop him fighting for it. He has a right to file for change to custody if he wants to. All you can do is fight his reasoning in court - you will probably need a lawyer.
