My eldest of 4 has very thin fine blonde hair , at the top you can see her scalp , she doesn't pull at her hair or finds the scalp itchy , eats a very well balanced diet , dose anyone recommend a good supplement to help with the issue . Thankyou

My son has a new little friend and she has very fine hair aswell, not blonde but its just the way her hair is. My son was also born without hair, better said a slight fluff. He has very blonde hair. At first when they started growing they were very very fine. Its gotten thicker now. Your daughters hair might change with time. I wouldnt be to worried.

There's nothing you can do that will make hair thicker. It's just the way she is.

Hi , no luckily she doesn't take any notice to it n just gets on with things , she was bald as a baby an was only really until she was about one 1/2 it started growing , while it grows in length it just stays very thin . She had a full medical at school , not long before school finished for the summer an nothing came up other than her eye sight which we are dealing with at the mo , will def take your advice an just continue with the mix healthy diet an just see how she goes . thankyou :)

Is she self conscious?

Blonde hair is naturally thinner and finer than other types of hair. I'm also known kids who had thin baby hair for a long time, and were closer to five or six before their hair got thicker.

Have you talked to your doctor and ruled out any medical causes?

I wouldn't sink a lot of money into supplements. If she is healthy, and eating a healthy diet, supplements aren't likely to make a difference. And if she has a deficiency that can be addressed using supplements you should confirm that with a doctor.
