Daughter - BioMom - Names - Does it really matter?

My daughter (she'll be 4 in February) will not say my name or her baby sister's name (she's 5 months old). She constantly hugs us and wants to be around us but flat out refuses to say our names. She has told us a few times that her Mother told her not to say them.
It makes me so frustrated and makes me feel disrespected in my home.
She recently has stopped saying thank you, please, you're welcome in our home as well. She says that she has manners at her Mom's house but doesn't know why she doesn't have them at our home. She would rather avoid any situation having to use manners or say my name or her sister's name.
I don't know what to do. Does it really matter? Should I just ignore the name thing and focus on manners?
My husband asked her Mother about it and told her what she told us and her Mother responded with "she is a liar". Her Mother is very bitter and wants full custody and decision making.
Any advice?
