My daughter went to college in /august 2016 and everyday to seems very hard to not get teary eyed just thinking about her. She comes home from time to time but then it seems even worse when she leaves. I am not workign right now so it makes it even worse

I'm having a much harder time than I thought I would, too. I feel a little lost. What am I supposed to do now? I spent two years helping her decide on colleges, apply, wait for responses, testing, packing, etc. So I am trying to figure out what comes next. What comes next? It isn't popping into my head, so I'm going to have to go find it.

Join me! We have to get this done, right? Otherwise there is nothing to do. What are some of the things that you love, that maybe the rest of the family isn't very interested in? I might actually plant a garden this year. I have an afghan I want to finish. I might even start decluttering my "messy" room. (Not that it is interesting, but it sure would be cool to have it DONE, instead of always on my plate.)

So it's going to take us longer. Who cares? We'll get there eventually if we keep looking in that direction and take baby steps.

If you are wanting to work spend that time looking for work. Or get involved in somethings you are interested in. You need to get up and get out.
