I know..I know... "She'll do it when she's ready." What if I don't make it that long? What if I have to put diapers in her back pack in kindergarten?
I'm being dramatic (or am I? lol) but she turned three in October and in July she was "trying" and even went an entire day going on the potty without any issue! Then, the next day, NOTHING. She hasn't even tried unless I have practically forced her to in the past 8 months. (I don't anymore.)
My newest tactic is to tell her she has outgrown her diapers. When I ask, "What will you do when you get too big for the diapers." She always answers, "Pee on the potty and wear panties." So, I bought infant sized diapers and am going to tell her that she outgrew her diapers. I have been pointing out how she is growing a little bit each day, too. I feel like I've done everything else, she just keeps saying, "I'm a baby."
Any advice other than the standard? Or maybe just words of encouragement? Thanks so much!
