Daughter's felony; will it affect grandson's SSI?

I am a grandmother who has temporary custody of my disabled grandson (autistic, ADHD, etc.) and he receives Medicaid and SSI. The money goes to his mom’s name. She was incarcerated for three (April 3 - June 12) months and now has a felony drug convection. My daughter has been in a half way house for sic months and will have an apartment December 13. She is also in Drug Court and has been clean since her arrest and release from jail.

I just received her Representative Payee Report today. Will my grandson’s SSI Disability payments be canceled? His Drugs are over $1,200 a month and this does not include all his doctors, etc.

I am not certain and every state has different rules. The best thing would probably be contact your local county health dept. or visit their website! I hope everything works out! Children with disabilities deserve everything on the world in my opinion! They have the most innocent souls.
