daughters last name

I have never been married but I have a two year old daughter me and her father broke up before i ever had her but lived together for a while she has my last name and he is not on the birth certificate only me he also recently got married and i am engaged what i would like to know is when i get married can i change her last name when my changes

Yes you can, but think about it. Yes you want to all have the same last name but trust me it's a lot, A LOT of work, and headache.....

Personally I'd leave it. Lets say worse case scenario your next marriage fails you change your name back and you have to change your daughters again. Let her keep your name. There's no harm in it. But it's your choice do what you think is right.
